after that was history. we were sent out on a ~~crappytrail~~ QUEST around the school. we were supposed to choose a location whereby our [homes] are going to be. so yeah, we chose the library. when it was sharing time; [we shared with jiahui's and jianfeng's group]; they kept shooting us with questions and i was like; [HUH]? okay as in; deep inside i went HUH. but on the front must show them that we are confident; so i tried CRAPPING? and it somehow worked and somehow did not work?

recess time was... ...quite dumb. after leaving my assignments in mrs loke's locker, i went back to class and helped jiahui on what to say during the video shooting. and it came out quite crappy. but it went quite well i suppose.

during interaction time we actually shooted the 30seconds video. and went to the foyer for a class photo. okay. this was what happened. after 4 rounds of tying, i'm finally satisfied with how my tie looks like. and guess what. xielaoshi could not take with us and we had to allocate another day. zz. i was like; quite pissed? but it didn't ruin my mood after all. XINTIAN: Good Morning Miss Tang, Mdm Teh, and fellow friends. I am Xin Tian, and my other four fellow promotion officers of 1 J are Deborah, Yi Jia, Pearlyn and Lydia.
DEBORAH: This morning, we are going to introduce to all of you here our logo, slogan and products that we have come up with after much effort to promote an environmentally friendly world.
PEARLYN: Yes, an environmentally friendly world, and these animals will have a home to stay. The monitor lizard, the mudskipper, and a lot of other animals!
XINTIAN: These animals belong to a common place: the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve.
LYDIA: Very unfortunately, because of the many inconsiderate people, their home and peace is being disrupted.
YIJIA: Therefore, our specially designed logo revolves around our theme: Conservation of Nature Reserves in Singapore.
PEARLYN: And now, we present you our LOGO!
DEBORAH: As we can see on the slide, our caption is on the monitor lizard itself. And it says "DESTROYING THEIR HOMES IS THE LAST THING YOU SHOULD DO!”
LYDIA: We have decided that this will be our ideal caption, as we believe that this is a sentence with extreme impact.
YIJIA: We believe that this sentence, with the extreme impact, will be able to awaken the conscience of those inconsiderate citizens.
XINTIAN: With our slogan, there must be a story behind the choices of the various elements of our logo.
LYDIA: Firstly, we have decided to use the monitor lizard as the border of our logo. Behind this decision, there is one significant reason.
DEBORAH: This is because when we were about to leave the Sungei Buloh Nature Reserve, we miraculously managed to see a giant monitor lizard.
PEARLYN: And these two photographs are what we managed to capture.
XINTIAN: Other than the monitor lizard, as we can see, the mudskipper and the branch play equally important roles in our logo.
YIJIA: As what we usually know, mudskippers usually stay in water. It is quite unusual to be seeing mudskippers on branches.
LYDIA: However, if you notice the smile on the mudskipper’s face in our logo, we are actually trying to tell you that it is living very happily with the floras and faunas of the Sungei Buloh Nature Reserve.
PEARLYN: Thus, through the mudskipper and the branch, the message we are trying to relate is that as long as we do not contaminate their habitat, they will be able to live in perfect harmony with one another.
DEBORAH: On the whole, we are emphasizing on the importance of human keeping the environment clean and safe, giving the animals a secured home.
LYDIA: Coming to the colour scheme, our two main colours are GREEN and BROWN.
XINTIAN: Using these two colours only, we believe that we have managed to bring out the beauty of the greenery of the nature reserves using the different shades of GREEN and BROWN. The reason for choosing only 2 colours is because we are supposed to use it for commercial uses, it is preferred not to have too many colours or high cost yet attractive to public.
PEARLYN: We have used a darker green for the monitor lizard and a lighter shade of the leaves.
YIJIA: As for brown, a duller brown is used for the branch as we thought since the mudskipper will be camouflaged to the branch if both shades of brown is similar, it will be a little troublesome for people to differentiate between the two.
DEBORAH: Coming up, we are proud to showcase our two specially designed products that we think are very suitable for promotional campaign purposes.
PEARLYN: First and foremost, we present you OUR MUGS. These mugs have our logos printed on them.
XINTIAN: We have chosen the mug as one of our products because as humans, we have to drink water everyday. Hence, we believe that when people drink from this mug, they will take a second look on the mug out of curiosity and this would be ideal to our promoting purpose.
LYDIA: Not forgetting our MRS SOFTIES. These soft mini cushions definitely carry our logo. We thought that this might be very attractive to ladies and girls.
YIJIA: And since we are being very environmentally friendly, we have cut down costs in a lot of things. Our mugs are only a dollar each and we believe that with only these few colours, it would be very affordable.
PEARLYN: Other than the mug, the cushion costs only about a dollar each too.
DEBORAH: We have come to the end of our sharing session.
XINTIAN: We hope that our logo, slogan and products have motivated you to help maintain the greenery of the environment.

How to become a Christian

Easy Instructions

"Becoming a Christian" (also: "getting saved"; or "being born again") begins with God. God demonstrates his love for the individual by creating in the unbeliever a desire or a longing for Him. Jesus, the Son of God, said, "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." Revelation 3:20 (All scripture from NIV) That means that Jesus speaks to the unbeliever's heart and asks to be invited in to be Lord and Master. God wants everyone to be saved (I Timothy 2:3-4) but we must respond to His love and His call.

Here are four simple steps in responding to God's call and "becoming a Christian." The order of the steps could be interchangeable. What is important is that the unbeliever becomes a "believer" by doing all the steps with a sincere heart.

1.BELIEVE: Romans 10:9 says, "That if you confess (admit) with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Believe in your heart that Jesus is the risen Son of the living God and state that belief. A head belief is not enough. One must be willing to put that belief into action in one's life.

2. REPENT: To repent means to be sorry that one has sinned against God. All sin is against God. (Psalm 51:4) And with the sorrow must come the decision to leave the sin. Acts 3:19 says, "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord." To repent literally means to turn around. Turn from a life of sin to a life of obedience to God.

3. CONFESS: One must agree with God that he or she is a sinner and tell God about personal sins. I John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."

4. RECEIVE: We must actually open up the door to our heart and invite Jesus to come in to be our personal Lord and Savior. The words in John 1:12 show the connection between believing and receiving. "Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God..."

Becoming a Christian is not following some ritualistic formula to join a church. Becoming a Christian is a life changing event that takes one off the wide road to hell and destruction and places him or her on the narrow road to heaven and eternal life. The decision to become a Christian must be taken sincerely and with the desire to please God. If you would like to become a Christian you may want to pray with a mature Christian. Or, you can pray privately. Be sure to use all four of the above steps in your prayer.

Talk to God and tell him that you BELIEVE that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died for your sins. Tell God in your prayer that you REPENT and are sorry for your sins and you want to leave them behind. Agree with God that you are a sinner and CONFESS your sins to Him. Tell God that your are opening your heart to Jesus and that you RECEIVE Him as your Savior and Lord.

If you pray that prayer sincerely then believe that Jesus has promised to come into your heart. Know that Jesus is there. Follow Him. Obey Him. Trust Him. And welcome to the Body of Christ.

[Father, I hereby commit this time to You. Father I just pray that You will open my eyes and let me surrender myself totally to You, Holy Father. Father I thank you that I am still able to spend wonderful times with my family and that You did not take me away from them. Father I know that I am a sinner. this was what happened. yesterday, jarvix and iowa had our maths test. jarvix's test was earlier than iowa's. that girl did not bring her compass. she borrowed from me. okay. i did. HONESTLY. SHE ONLY COMES TO ME ONLY WHEN SHE NEEDS MY HELP. what a girl u might think.

okay. i lent it to her. i reminded her again and again to return it to me immediately after school. she agreed. after school, she had chinese orchestra general meeting. she got wanting to return to me. wanting did not know where was my table. so she just left it on any table. it was charmaine's table. i did not notice of course. so i waited for that girl for more than half an hour for her chinese orchestra general meeting to end. and there my father was waiting for me for more than half an hour.
